My sweet friend, Amy, called a few weeks back and asked if we would like to go look at Christmas lights in their airplane. Ummm, let me think about that! YES! Carter is fascinated with airplanes, I love Christmas lights, and this sure beats the 15 minute helicopter ride for $300! So tonight was the big night. We couldn't decide whether or not to take Evyn with us, but Mike decided that if we went down, we needed to die as a family, so we all loaded up and went!
My friend, Angie, was convinced that I would need both a scarf and goggles, so this picture is for her! This is the "bonanza" that we flew on. We got 7 people in this tiny plane.

Here is the whole family pre-flight. Evyn was amazing- she sat in the front with me and only pushed a few buttons! She actually fell asleep about halfway through.

My sweet babies chilling on the wing of an airplane.

Carter and Terra are big buddies. They talked and giggled in the headphones the whole time we flew. They also managed to open the emergency exit mid-flight, which made for an exciting few minutes.

We got to fly over several amazing neighborhoods, Lake Ransom Canyon, and Texas Tech! Looking down on Christmas lights was magical. The city looked like this perfect little village. It was definitely a night to remember!

oh heavens, not sure where to begin... the scarf, the goggles, the emergency exit, the fact that Mike wanted to bring Evyn in case you all went down...
my, my friend, you are a funny gal.
So fun!
HOW FUN!!! Now, might not be a great time for me to ride in an airplane, but maybe one day I'll hit up Amy for the red carpet treatment!
You are just full of adventure. I'm impressed.
You guys are crazy! but, what a fun memory.
How cool!!! You are very brave - that plane looked tiny! What a fun memory for Carter especially. And yes, I laughed out loud at what Mike said about you going down together. Thanks for sharing your trip!
How cool!!! I bet Carter had a BLAST!!! His little friend looks familiar. Is she in Kinder @ West?
The picture of all of you by the wing would make a great card.
Glad you had such a fun time but even happier that you landed safely. Fun memories.
